ReportReport
Posted on by

Hello,

I am working on D365 using Management reporter but  the Attributes in colums in MR didn't show any values such as "Journal Name", "Journal Number" , do they work or am i missing to put certain parameters or missing any setup ?

The demanded report is to show all transactions per year per period per journal number and journal name :

This is the MR set up

This is the printed report, column with attribute set up are not displayed

please advise ,

PS: 1- There are posted transactions in the environment for which I setup the MR

2- Parameters in the General Ledger -> Ledger Setup -> Financial Reporting Setup are enablad (Dimensions ans Attribute)

Many thanks in advance,

Regards

Abir

As per my knowledge, the attributes does not show up in the report front, instead you need to click on the value and drill down to the 'report transactions level' it will show you there

    Hello Ramit,

    Thank you for reply

I need to display these columns in my report :

    1-Journal number

    2-Journal Name

3-The sum of all Transactions in the debit of the journal

4-The sum of all Transactions in the credit of the journal

My client demand to display all transactions per journal number and journalname

I set up my report according to this explanation : www.erpsoftwareblog.com/.../

    but il doesn't work

    Regards

In the same blog itself, it is written you need to drill down to transaction level then only you can see the journal number

    Hello Ramit,

Thank you. As written, may be it s not the good set up because I have to show transactions per journal. The client has not to drill down the transactions details to see the journal name and journal number (the attribute selected).

The informations of Journal number and journal name must be displayed from the report generation.

    Hello,

Also I tried to generate the demanded report with in ledger reports -->Print journal: docs.microsoft.com/.../view-journal-entries-transactions

According to this  I can run the report by journal batch number or journal type, or add additional fields. Or with the only  journal type its not possible

    Thank you,

    Regards
