Automatic regulation of Route Operations depending on Item Configuration

Newbie in AX 2009 needs help. ^_^

I have a finished good A with configurations "00" and "11". "00" = no configuration and "11" = with configuration.

Finished good A's BOM consists of raw materials X, Y and Z, where Z is used for configuration "11".

Finished good A's Route consists of operations Assemble X, Assemble Y and Assemble Z.

When I create a production order of finished good A without configuration (i.e. "00"), raw material Z is automatically excluded out of finished good A's BOM line on the specific production order.

I expected the route to correspond on the same manner i.e. operation Assemble Z would be excluded out of finished good A's route on the specific production order because the configuration is "00". However, this is not the case. Operation Assemble Z is still included in the route.

Anybody can help if what I wanted is possible?
