Dynamics 365 Guides client apps and Solution update for June 9, 2022

Per our announcement an update to Guides HoloLens and PC clients and a Solution update was released on June 9, 2022.

This Guides v703.2206.6001.0 client update and solution update v700.3.0.1 includes:

- Search for a guide across all folders in an instance

- Fix guides that will not load due to accidental deletion of tasks or steps outside the PC app

- Quality improvements

Does this affect me?

The client update will affect all Guides users. The solution update is required to enable some of the new features for users. The what's new page details which features require a solution update. It is best practice to update to the most recent solution update but not all new features require an updated solution.

What action do I need to take?

Update the HoloLens Client App for your users using one of the recommended deployment processes Update the PC Client App using the Microsoft Store or one of these recommended deployment solutions.

To access all new features and fixes for the PC and HoloLens client apps update the Dynamics 365 Guides solution to version 700.3.0.1. You must be a system administrator to update the solution. For information on how to upgrade the solution, please visit this site.

To check the solution compatibility between the Solution Guides and apps, please look here.

If you choose not to update your PC and HoloLens apps and the Dynamics 365 Guides solution, there will be no impact and you will be able to continue using Dynamics 365 Guides with the existing feature set.
