Data Migration

Hello,

I am trying to upload sales discount prices in the data migration table. The process requires me to upload the data from an excel file then apply the data to NAV. However, when I do the initial upload, only the item numbers are uploaded. The other information (Sales Discount, currency code, sales code, etc.) is not uploaded for some reason. I tried using a new excel file as I thought my original template got corrupted , but that is not the case.

Our business model has several companies within NAV. The data migration works in all companies accept for the one I am trying to upload the information into.

Does anyone know why this would occur? This problem has only happened recently.

Thanks for your help,

Pete

If the file makes correct upload for the other companies in the database, but fails for this particular one in the same database, then there can be something wrong with the company. May be so that there are some settings in currency codes or sales codes are different?

There may be something wrong with this company. I will review this with our consultants.

    Thanks

First Export 1 record with Data migration. IF that does work, open the resulting excel file, change it, so that you can import the one record. IF that does work, fine. If not, then there is something wrong with that company.

After importing the data from excel,

First check "Migration Fields" and confirmed weather Include is checked or not for all fields that you want.

    archer,

I cant debug this because the debugger breaks before I have a chance to upload the information.

    Binesh,

I have confirmed that the schema is mapped. It is weird because the same file works in all companies within NAV except for one.

    Thanks

    RE: Data Migration

    Hello Pete,

First you open your excel file and check data is there or not,

If data is there then check the xml schema of that excel, see the bellow screenshot,

    migration.png

if you found the schema, then verify every field by selecting.
