Transfer Order

Dear All, 

I have a situation, where i want to configure transfer order in such a way, that the sender must not be able to receive the transfer order

So, if an employee A in warehouse A is sending items to B warehouse where an employee B is working, A must not be able to receive it, only B must be able to receive this transfer order

How can i achieve this in AX 2012

    Hi Yousaf,

    Seems very basic requirement from supply chain perspective, however haven't seen anything specific to this. What you can try is to control this through security and try to disable/remove the 'Receive' option for employee 'A'. find menu item / button and then try to track the privilege. If this works, you also need to make sure while shipping, the employee 'A' is not able to mark 'Receive automatically' as that would also trigger the receipt of transfer order. Give this a try and let us know if it works for you.

    This would get more tricky and hope that's not the case in your environment, i.e. employee 'A' sometimes also receive the goods that employee 'B' may have shipped it from other warehouse.
