Can't modify field in a business process

Posted on by 55

I have 2 identical fields on my entity (they never show up both in a same time). But I can't update 1 of them in my business process. I can modify it when creating or updating record but can't do it in workflow. I disabled "read only" mode of the controller, disabled security role and onload script but still this field is unreachable for me. Another one identical field can be modified. This trouble appears both in Dynamics 2011 and 365 and I don't know what to do.

Workflow will not show all the form fields if you have multiple forms & invisible by default fields.

Workflow editor will show last visited form, maybe you can keep a System Admin form with all fields, visit that form to capture it in cookies, then edit the WF.

What do you mean by "still this field is unreachable for me.", is it appearing as disabled in workflow? Can you share a screenshot. Do you hae the same display name of the both the fields? If yes, try changing the display name so that it is unique.

    Hi,

If you share your workflow  description will be more useful. But, I will advice you copy your workflow and recreate again activate and publish it. Sometimes it is helpfull. Otherwise please share your field defination and workflow that  I or someone can help you.

    happy CRM/365 coding.
