Segment member estimate is too high

Hi Community,
 
I am trying to create a segment based on a specific Topic. However, the estimated number of members does not match the number shown in the consent center. Here I have 1985 members.
The number remains the same (2124 members) when I publish the segment instead of the 1985 members that it should be.
 
Hope you can help me understand what the issue is.

    Hi,
     
    i have two ideas on your issue.
     
    1. Which enforcement modell are you using in your compliance profile? Depending on the chosen model "will send" means different things. E.g. If you have a enforcment modell as not restrictive, the contact will also appear in your segment when the consent center option is "not set"
    2. Do you have multiple contacts with the same email adress? If you have duplicate contacts they will also show up here, that's why the number of contats can be higher
