Project Service Automation : Modify Project's Business workflow

Hi,

I am facing an error after updating the Business Process of the Project Entity.

OOTB, the steps are like follow : New/Quote/Plan/Deliver/Complete/Close.

After i updated the Step names, i created a project and let it at the "New" Step, then i created an opportunity/Quote and wanted to fill the Project Field in the Quote Line.

I got the following error :

In a normal process, when affecting a quote line to the project, the project business workflow move from step "New" to "Quote".

But i renamed the "Quote" to something else. I understand that there is a plugin responsible of this behavior and after renaming the step i get this error.

My question : Am i allowed to modify the Business workflow of a project without creating a regression in the process ?
