Event Planning limitations in RTM

Hi there,

Are there some limitations within Event Planning based on whether it's a new implementation of Real-Time Marketing?

For instance, I'm unable to see the /Passes/ subgrid on the Event form (you can see it when going to customise the form). I couldn't understand why, so I examined some of the JS web resources and can see there's some references to hiding a number of Tabs and Sections based on a function called 'adaptFormForRealtimeOrOutboundOnLoad'. This includes the reference to Ze.PassesSectionName. (code extract below)

RealTimeMarketingSetFieldsVisiblity(e,t){const n=new ue(e);t?(n.HideSectionFromTab(Qe.GeneralTabName,Ze.WaitlistSectionName),n.HideSectionFromTab(Qe.GeneralTabName,Ze.TimelineSectionName),n.HideSectionAndSetFieldsOptional(Qe.GeneralTabName,Ze.WebinarSetupSectionName),n.HideSectionFromTab(Qe.RegistrationAndAttendanceTabName,Ze.PassesSectionName),n.HideSectionFromTab(Qe.RegistrationAndAttendanceTabName,Ze.ContactsWhoCanceledSection),n.HideTabAndSetFieldsOptional(Qe.WebsiteAndFormTabName),n.HideTab(Qe.RecoveryItemsTabName),n.HideLookup(ft.IsRecurringEvent),n.HideLookup(et.RegistrationResponsesSubgridName),n.HideLookup(ft.AllowCustomAgenda),n.HideLookup(ft.WaitlistThisEvent),n.ShowTab(Qe.RTMWebsiteAndFormTabName)

Regards
Gavin

Yes. Passes and payments are not supported in real-time marketing yet. Once supported you will be able to do what you describe. You can read more about the OBM and RTM differences here: Plan, publicize, and collect registrations for events - Dynamics 365 Customer Insights | Microsoft Learn

Thank you William, is there any timeline to support this functionality? It means that for our new customer (or any new potential customer) that is looking to take on D365 Marketing for an Events Planning solution (we are just in Requirements Gathering with them, looking to start implementation in January) there is a gap that we therefore cannot fill.

I read another piece of information that said Existing Customers can request to enable Outbound, but not New Customers?
