Hi
Is there a way to hide/deactivate Customers in D365 to remove them from forms and drop downs? We have already put the Customer On Hold with the credit collection piece to stop any transactions, but it would be ideal if there was a way to remove them so clean up the dropdowns.
From a wider perspective it would be interesting if there was a way to do it with Products and Suppliers too. Ideally it would clean up our screens for our Ops Team and make it easier to use.Happy to hear about third party solutions / customizations if that's what it took to make it possible.
Thanks, Ross

Hi, You can put Customer on Hold for All but not sure if it will hide that account from all forms and lookups.
Check this article

Hello,
Just like Billur mentioned,
Extensible data security is solution to your requirement.
You get to create security role from Visual studio and attach it to the concerned users.
Check this example.

Hi, already had a look at this part but wont hide from the lookups, thanks for the reply though, this will probably help some.
This seems like the most likely solution, I will review and see if it can resolve our situation.
Thank you!
To filter the record in drop-down, you can use the lookupreference functionality
