Business Central does not load

Hi there - I have signed up as a free trial user for BUsiness Central. I get an email confirming that I am now registered but when I try to Signin to Business Central here https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=2106760&clcid=0x409 all i see is the splash screen which shows that its loading but it never loads. I am on a good connection so its not that the connection drops out or anything. Also, I have waited for well over 2 hours at a time for it to load but it just doesnt go past the splash screen. Is this a known issue? and what is the workaround please> Thanks

    Hello,

    That is not a good user experience. Best probably is to create a new user and assign that new user a license. Then try to logon with that user instead of the current user.

    You can also go to businesscentral.dynamics.com/.../admin and see if the environment is up and running.

    Thanks Marco, I made some progress with this link, at least I have a different error :)

    I have tried different user names and I still get the same error. Looks like it requires an admin role assigned to a user. But this is a trial account so it does show up as Business Central for IWs in my licenses. Not sure what other licence it is referring to... Any other thoughts please? Thank you

    Hi,

    For what I know, even if you’re using a trial account, it is still associated to your domain. And depending on your role, you’ll need an admin account to create the tenant since you could convert your trial environment to production. Hope that helps! Check with your IT service producer or someone who handles your O365/M365 environment.

    Hi, It looks like you are trying to log into Admin Center.

    Try the following.

    1. log into Microsoft Admin center

    https://admin.microsoft.com/Adminportal/Home?source=applauncher#/homepage

    2. Choose Active users and select the user you want to assign roles.

    3. Choose Manage Roles

    4. Select Admin center access, and then check Global Administrator.

    Then try again.

    Perfect, thank you for that. Now only if the instructions were clearly provided on Microsoft BUsiness Central setup guide. You are right, in the admin section I had to change my role to Global Administrator. Apart from this I then had to go to Business Central's admin section (pointed out by Marco) to create a new environment as none existed. Once the status changed from 'Preparing' to 'Active' for the environment, I was finally able to login..

    Geez, this looks hard already :) But thank you all who responded to my query, we finally got there.
