Data Import issue with file of type zip following Oct 2024 Wave Release

Following the Wave Release this week a daily task for one of my team members, which is to import data in zip file format into CRM via the Data Import page, seems to be no longer possible, giving the following error message:

Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'split')
 
Fortunately, she is able to access the deprecated old look Settings:Data Management:Data Import view and the zip file import continues to work fine there, as it has done for several years.
 
You will note on the new popup window in my attached screenshot that it states zip is still a supported format, so we are wondering why the import is not possible in the new look page, and what the alternative will be when we can no longer access the old style pages.

    Hello Jen,
     
    If possible try to do a dry run with a single excel upload with new data import UI..if it is working then you can try one by one. It is possible that this is a UI error and not from your data or vice versa.

    Hi Amit, we only use MS Edge so have not tried with another browser. However I can confirm that the same zip file/data was imported successfully using the old Data Import UI experience.

    Have you tried with some different browser? Also same zip and data is working in older UI import correct?
