How do you configure a campaign to track if email has been opened?

Id like to know whether contacts included in a quick campaign can be tracked to see if they have opened the email.

I have used quick campaigns which I feel do not provide tracking info like 'opened email', if this is the case what is the best way to ensure this data is captured?

    Hi John,

    I'm afraid you'll find Dynamics CRM is unable to track message opens out of the box. You will need to purchase a third party marketing add-on to enable more professional marketing modules (this is by far the area in which Dynamics is lacking the most).

    Hi there!

    This first solution does simple tracking of Email going out of CRM including opens, clicks, etc.

    www.powerobjects.com/.../poweremail

    This other solution just uses MailChimp as the mail server and integrates it with CRM, which provides a more robust functionality.
