Issue while publishing extension

Hi All,

I am facingg issue while i am publishing .app package file from VS code or from upload extension method.

If i am publishing from VS Code with same version i am getting the error:

Reason: This Extension cannot be published as it has the same App ID and Version as a previously published Extension.

If i publishing it with a increment in version of .app file i am getting this error:

Reason: No published extensions match the specified parameter values.

I am facing this after upgrade to Business Central 2024 release wave 1

Hi

If you have previously installed the application via Business Central, and then try to install it via VSC, a message appears. Has this happened to you?

Hi,

It seems to me that it had the installation of another application with the same ID in Application Extension.

Try to remove them or change the ID in your Application.

It is a bug and they are working on a solution. Here more information.

This Extension cannot be published as it has the same App ID and Version as a previously published Extension · Issue #7721 · microsoft/AL (github.com)

Is this on a cloud Instance?

If so try creating a new sandbox environment. Updating your json launch.json to the new Sandbox environment name and it shoudl work again.

Hi, this is a Microsoft standard issue and is being resolved. You can manually install the extension after publishing (this error). The disadvantage is that it cannot be debugged.......
