I have added some custom columns to the Knowledge Article entity.
I would like to display those custom columns in the knowledge content form however, I am struggling to find this or achieve the desired outcome
There is an out of box form called 'Article Content' which seems to be the form the system should used to preview the content to a user however, the custom columns are not appearing despite adding them to this form.
Any guidance on how I can get the custom columns to appear on the form that previews the knowledge article to users
This is a common challenge in Dynamics 365 Customer Service when customizing Knowledge Article entities, especially around the “Article Content” form.
Display custom fields in the main Knowledge Article form
If your goal is to show the custom fields to users editing or managing the article (not just when reading), then:
Go to Customization → Knowledge Article → Forms.
Open the “Information” form (not “Article Content”).
Add your custom fields there.
Publish all customizations.
These fields will now appear for users creating or editing Knowledge Articles in CRM.
