Hi all,
I am using NAV 2008.
On Job Planning Lines, there is a column --- Planning Date. Could anyone tell me if that Date is a parameter when creating (FP) Firm Planning Prod Order on Job Planning Lines? Does it affect the Due Date of FP?
Thank you.

Job Planning Line is not included in Regenerative Plan in NAV2009. You can use Planning Date manually. In NAV2013, Job Planning Line is included in planning process.
Sorry, but there is not other solution without customization.
Hi Aleksandar,
There must be some kind of "deadline" for the job planning line Item, otherwise, how does "calculate regenerative plan" schedule the manufacturing process (starting date and ending date) of prod order?
NAV2008 does not exist. I guess, you use NAV2009.
You can use Job Planning Lines to list your expectations of the job, not for production. Firm Planning Production Orders (as all other Prod.Orders) are not in connection with Job Planning Lines.
In 'Planning Date' field you can enter the date for filtering the totals of the job, for example, if you want to see the scheduled usage for a specific month of the year, nothig else.
