Contact Insights - Will historical OBM data be deleted entirely, or just "Read-only"

Posted on by 38
Per question, we have years of email communications record marked against each Contact record.

This can be found if you go to a Contact record > Insights tab > Outbound marketing sub-tab.

You can see all sort of interaction - from email delivered to form submitted.

Question: Will these data be available when OBM is deprecated in June 2025?

If yes, great, as we need to keep record of communication for 7 years.

If no, how do we go around it? Will these data be transitioned over to the RTJ sub-tab?

Not sure of the answer to this but we export our insights out to blob storage in Azure and our data platform ingest it so that is an option (there is a config record in marketing settings for outbound that you can set up to do this, you need global admin to create a storage acc to link to it) there is info online somewhere. Unfortunately, the same functionality isn't available in real time... seems they are pushing fabric integration
