We had upgraded to the newer version of GP last year i.e. 2020.
In December our IT person helped us perform the year end update as usual.
We have a customized macro that exports some data out to an excel workbook by calling a stored procedure on the server.(We have to input dates off a form).
We have had to open Visual Basic and click on the excel library each year to make sure that this macro exported data to excel.
Well this year we did the same and are still getting an error when the macro is run.
The error reads " 2147319779 Automation error Library not registered".
Please let me know what else might be causing this issue.
Thank you.
I think we figured this out. The registry was a problem. Microsoft has a registry line for Office 365 which needs to be deleted. The macro seems to export to excel once this is done.
I would take a look at this document, it's the closest I could find to this error:
Runtime error 2147319779 (8002801d) when setting a company as default - Office | Microsoft Docs
