Hey Brian,
I talked with a System Engineer and they have seen this window. One thing they have done is set this window back like you have done already for one machine to resolve similar issues. I think your best option here is to revert the window back as it corrects your issue on one machine as it appears to be the change of the print window. Guess it depends on how much further you want to spend on this since you know of a solution already.
If you do not want to do this, I have some additional information below.
I had a printer issue a few weeks ago with an windows 11 machine where it would not print correctly. The Print window you are seeing is due to windows 11 it appears.
What we ended up doing to correct the issue was to go into the Printer Setup in GP (Microsoft Dynamics GP | Printer Setup) and change the Default Printer. We then changed it back. After doing so, it started to print correctly.
You can give this a try and see if it makes a difference.
Another thing you can try is updating your printer driver. There could be a problem or not be compatible.
If your reports are modified that keep having the problem, you try setting them back to the Core reports and see if the same thing happens. Modified reports are not guaranteed to not have any issues after an upgrade/update as things to do change from version to version.
Beats option to uninstall and re-install would be a great test. If a new install gives problems, there is likely something environmental causing this.
If these are network printers, can you try a local one? Does this make a difference?
Were there any issues with the upgrade that you are aware?
If you print to screen and not to the printer, do you have any problems? If not, this could point to your printer being the problems. If you redirect printers, could be a problem there as well.
One last thing, the error states there is a problem with the printer configuration. Have you reviewed your setting on the printer?
Honestly, with so many problems, it might be best you open a case with Microsoft to take a look. Since you are having issues in multiple modules during printing, this would be a systems case if you create one due to multiple modules experiencing the issue.
I hope this helps!
Thank you!
