AX 2012 for Retail, Store Connect Service issue

Hi guys,

I have trouble on Store Connect Service in my DEV environment.  Could you please help?

I installed AOS and POS on a same server. Ax database and the AxRetailPOS databases both reside in the local SQLServer,  everything worked correctly.

But after I restored AX data from another environment (PROD) to this DEV environment, the Store Connect Service did not work anymore.

sure I re-configured all settings and profiles for Retail.

(AOS Profile

                Database Profile

                Retail Store Connect Profile

                Distribution Locations > Connection Profile

                Distribution location list > default include list

                Transaction Service Profile

)

It's strange because when the N-Jobs are run, the status is successful. But the StoreConnectDatabase message tables have no records. And If I stop the  StoreConnectService, the N-jobs still run and say successful when they would normally fail.

From the log file of  StoreConnectService, I see following info.

2012.10.9 4:11:44:707 (93704) [1] CSockConn::Accept: ERROR: Accept failed. Invalid socket [10004]

2012.10.9 4:11:44:718 (93704) [1] CSocketListener::Listen: Could not accept a socket connection. Exiting

I tried "Send configuration" on the Retail store connect profiles form, and saw a records inserted into table [StoreConnectDatabase].[dbo].[SCMonitoringConfig].  so there is no problem on the connection to StoreConnectDatabase.

And I find that if I delete those 5 .que files located in directory C:\Users\StoreConnectService\AppData\Local\Microsoft Dynamics AX\60\Retail Store Connect\ServerName\work,  only 3 .que files will be generated automatically.   The _hdr.que and _logn.que files would no longer be generated.  (If the StoreConnectService works correctly, those 5 .que files would be generated automatically when you deleted them)

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Alan

    even we setup AX and POS in another new server, (we still restored AX data from PORD's database), the store connect service still does not work.  Couldn't we restore AX data from another AX instance?

    You need to add data on  distribution list tables.
