How to do Intercompany Bank Transfer

Dear Folks,

How to Transfer Funds from a Bank Account in a Legal Entity to Bank Account in the Another Legal Entity.Is an Intercompany Transfer.

    Hi,

    Have you tried using a GL account for that purpose?

    As far as I remember bank accounts from different legal entities cannot directly be posted against each other. In this case you have to use a bridging account in between.

    Would be great if you could test and let us know the outcome.

    Hi,

    Microsoft Do not recommend allowing multiple subledger  like Bank to Bank, see bellow:

    docs.microsoft.com/.../one-voucher

    Actualy you can use a general journal with intercomany setup to have this kind of Ledger (Just and exemple) :

    FRSI-Bank => FRSI-Main Account

    FRSI-MA => USMF-BANK

    Did you find a work around for this? We have many bank to bank transactions between legal entities and I do not want to create an two entries for each transfer.

    FRSI-Bank => FRSI-Main Account

    FRSI-MA => USMF-BANKdoes

    it looks to me that we need to create create 2 journals, one at each company, is that right ? do you have an example that you can share
