I am using GP 2010 v11.00.1752 with Support Debugger v 11.00.0017. My users are using GP on a terminal server (2008 R2 Std SP1). I have been experimenting with Remote App before a user-wide roll out. One issue I have is when the users with 2 screens move GP to the second screen. The coordinates get written to the dex.ini, so the single screen user that tries to open it next can't see it, because it is located off of their screen.
I found Mariano's article on using the support debugging tool to reset the values in the dex.ini. (http://dynamicsgpblogster.blogspot.com/2011/12/resetting-gp-desktop-position-and-size.html). However, I don't have some of the exact settings that he has available. For example, under path default, his blog shows to set it to "Path setting by Administrator during the login process, update to current path" whereas my is only "Path setting by Administrator during the login process". The full option he shows is not available.
I have set it to have a centrally located debugger.xml. Also in that folder, I can see a log file with my username. When I open it, I'm seeing entries which seem to indicate the values are being changed (shown below) but if I move the GP window most of the way off-screen and close, it opens up in the same off-screen position. Any help would be most appreciated.

Set each of the two options as follows:
Path Default Setting: Path Setting not controlled by Administrator, use Dex.ini Setting window only
Advanced Mode Setting: Advanced Mode not controlled by Administrator, use Dex.ini Setting window only
Apply your changes.
Reopen the window. Now you should have the choice:
Path Default Setting: Path Setting set by Administrator, update to current path
I am, however experiencing the same behavior that you speak of. Post your issue to the SDT Portal for answers.
