How to add inventory dimensions for my item in custom form in D365.

Hi all,

I want to attach inventory dimensions to my form level in line details,i am selecting itemid, wrt that i need to select site and warehouse . i tried the below link

"https://daxbeginners.wordpress.com/2014/08/05/how-to-dynamically-display-inventory-dimension/" but i am geting site and warehouse as uneditable fields in line details.

any suggestions where i hav gone wrong. or any other links to my issue.

    Hi Test Bot,

    Are the other dimensions editable? If yes, can you check if the site and warehouse dimensions are editable in standard forms in the application (sales order, purchase order etc.)

    Hi Test Bot,

    You can verify what you have created with the standard from Microsoft. E.g. have a look at the inventory movement journal as an example.

    If you then still need help, please explain in detail what you have done so far in your environment. We can't check from the blog if you made a mistake in your environment.

    I hav another doubt. will the same given reference link will work for other custom form which has a linetable with transactiontype ie hour,fee,item,expense .??
