Server-Side Sync between CRM onpremise and pop 3 server not working. "An unknown error occurred while sending the email message "Test Message"

I have configured pop 3 smtp server profile for email box , what i configured SMTP IP address and port number are correct but still unable to send outgoing email. when i try to do test and enable mail box it throws unexpected  error occured. I am using dynamics crm 2013 on premise any body have solution please let me know.
