Hi all,

I have some problem with AOS service.

On Live-environment, it is scheduled to reboot the AX server every week,

till now , after the reboot , Dynamics AX AOS service start normally ,

but recently it doesn't start automatically.

It is okay to start manually but It should be start automatically after reboot

Is there any cause of the problem to consider that something has disturbed the AOS service to start?

Does anyone have same experience and know the cause of the problem?

Thanks in advance.

    Hi Pooh,

You can start with finding some errors in the Windows event logs related to the AOS service(s). It can be caused by e.g. not having the SQL server available in time, but there can be more reasons.

    Thank you Andre' .

application log errors are as below:

"Object Server 01:  The database ADUAXSV1\MicrosoftDynamicsAX_model is not recognized as a model store.

Object Server 01:  SQL diagnostics: [Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 11.0]Login timeout expired. Connect information was: Userid = [], Database = [MicrosoftDynamicsAX], Server = [ADUAXSV1], DSN = [], Other = [] Object Server 01:  Fatal SQL condition during login. Error message: "[Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 11.0]Login timeout expired"

What is the the possible cause of this. I think AOS server unable to connect to SQL server .

    Thanks in advance.

Check  your AOS service account and see if it has proper access in Model DB in  SQL server . Also check below community discussion about similar issue.

    Hi Pooh,

The link provided by Sukrut might help. In addition, check if the SQL server itself is running.

I have the same problem last two weeks in my case I think although the sql service is running so that the Bd are not available at the moment and in a few minutes you can start the AOS without problems.
