Invoice Date earlier than Order Date

Hi All, 

How can an Invoice has a date earlier than Order date? My customer facing the same challenge. Could you please advice?

    Until the document is moved to history, the doc date (order date for a sales order) can be changed in Sales Transaction Entry. A partial invoice was generated on 9/7 and then when the second invoice was generated on 9/13, the docdate was changed first on the sales order to 9/13.
