Fixed asset Acquisition adjustment does not post to general ledger upon Disposal - Scrap

I've Googled this and checked LCS and haven't found anything. The user had posted an asset Acquisition adjustment and now has disposed of the asset. The Acquisition adjustment hit the general ledger when it was posted but the adjustment did not hit the general ledger upon disposal. Only the original Acquisition amount posted to the GL at disposal. Has anyone seen this before? Could it be the result of a parameter setting or could it be a bug?

Hello Frank,

Is it possible that this is because of a pending / not transferred subledger entry?

Another thought that comes to my mind is if the same debit and credit account are used for this transaction type.

Thanks Ludwig, neither is the case but I think I just found it thanks to your question - there is nothing in the Disposal posting profiles for Acquisition adjustment.

Updated the Disposal posting profiles and issue is resolved. Sometimes it's the simplest things :)
