Ours is a US MNC because of which the Financial year configured was Calendar year - Jan-Dec. For Income Tax purpose, we need the financial year to be April-March.

How do we configure AX to satisfy both the requirements - US year - Jan-Dec and Indian year April-March? Please advise

    Hi,

Which verison of AX are you using? 2012 design is more firndly for multi company architecture.

Also, are you using same company or creating different companies for India and US operations?

Not possible to have 2 fiscal year.  I can suggest something which should work out. We can have a fiscal year of 15 months. We should make soft closing every month. And at the time of reporting we can select the period and generate the report. Or else we can copy the company to new company and use the data for that period .  If you have any more suggestion then we can also try.

Special Note : This is just a workaround from me and nothing to do with the product.

    Hi Mayur,

Another suggestion: If the reporting can be done from the ledger transactions only, you can create a consolidation company where you can use the consolidation process to copy the transactions to the second company. Within the consolidation company you have your own fiscal year.
