Create new security Team from workflow or custom workflow activity

Hello,

I'm attempting to create a new Team with a workflow using the out of the box workflow when another condition is met, but when choosing 'Create Record', the Team entity is not available. I've read that this may be accomplished using a custom workflow activity but I haven't found any information on how to do this. I've also come across the D365 Workflow Tool solution that does allow the creation of Teams inside a workflow. Unfortunately however, since our system is on-premise I'm unable to download the D365 Workflow Tool solution. Has anyone accomplished this task before? If so, any insight would be appreciated

Hi,

You can create your own custom activity code by copying the below code from the same tool and then call this custom workflow activity from your oob workflow

Creating teams based on the condition is not a good practice in CRM , you may come up with many teams which you can't manage in future. You may rethink your requirement. There is a access team capabilities in dynamics you may have a look to achieve your requirement.
