Use warehouse management processes

A customer has 2 warehouses and they want to use License Plate in one warehouse and use the other one for direct delivery without license plate.

One warehouse has “Use warehouse management processes” selected and the other has the parameter un-checked. Is this the correct way to set it up? What is the recommendation from Microsoft?

Regards,

Marina Nilsson

    Hi Marina,

That setup is valid. In one warehouse you can use full R3 warehouse mangement. In the other you will only have access to 'WMSI' processes.

Licence plate will be fine, because blank issues and receipts are allowed on this dimension. The other dimension that is new (and will be enabled) is Inventory status. On your WMSI warehouse, I think this will get set by default from some parameter in Warehouse management and you can just forget about it.
