Dynamics AX 7 not restarting

Hi folks,

I have an on premise Dynamics AX 7 VM, the Server had a abrupt restart and after that Dynamics AX is not working.

I checked my firewall, and disabled, next I did "Redeploying or restarting the Dynamics AX runtime on the VM".

What I found was some error in "Azure Storage Emulator"

You can see in the last it says "

Error occured: 17:36:23.9351: The command 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Azure\Storage Emulator\AzureStorageEmulator.exe' with arguments 'init -forcecreate -server RDXP00CCCFRAINM' did not complete within the wait time of '180000' secs.
Error occured: 17:36:23.9351: Storage emulator initialization failed.
17:36:23.9351: Sleeping 00:01:00 before retrying.

"

I tried manually starting it but failed !!! 

Did I miss anything important, what should be done to restart the AX now ?

    Hi Shivam,

    Have you tried to (re)start the World Wide Web services? Check if that part is running. Did you also restart the VM?

    Note that the word "on-premise" is not correct. It is a local VM.

    My mistake, the "local VM".

    I already did a VM restart and also checked, World Wide Web Services is already running.

    But no success.

    Don't you think it has to something with Azure Storage Block as stated in error.

    I haven't seen this error before. Can you indicate if this is a vanilla version of AX or are there any customizations? Can you think of some actions taken which might be related? How long have you used this VM without issues?

    Hi Andre,

    It is a Vanilla Version only (This is a Test Environment).

    Well, what my observation says is, THE EVALUATION PERIOD MUST HAVE EXPIRED. !!!

    Hi Shivam,

    Do you see some expiration errors or warnings within the machine itself? It could be indeed causing the error.
