Thank you for responding. I have not had a chance to do additional research.
First thing I look at is the SY7110 table and the USERID field is blank for all 1214 rows in the table. I don’t know if that could be a problem or not.
This is the SY08100 table for the user having the issue. She has Visible=1 on two of the items. There is no sectionID = 5 for Quick Links in this table for her. Most likely because when she exits the set up window the check mark in the Quick Link box disappears. Visible is 0 for everything.
USERID SectionID DICTID COLNUMBR SEQNUMBR Visible MetricSequence Selected Mode DEX_ROW_ID
scrawford 1 0 1 1 0 0 1 0 32613
scrawford 2 0 1 1 0 0 1 0 32612
scrawford 3 0 2 1 0 0 0 0 32615
scrawford 10 0 1 2 0 0 0 0 32614
This is what the SY8140 table looks like for this user. These are all the Quick Links that she had before and have now disappeared.
USERID SEQNUMBR TYPEID CmdID CmdFormID CmdDictID DSPLNAME ScbTargetStringOne ScbTargetStringTwo ScbTargetStringThree ScbTargetLongOne ScbTargetLongTwo ScbTargetLongThree ScbTargetLongFour ScbTargetLongFive DEX_ROW_ID

scrawford 3 1 61 1567 0 Receivables Transaction Inquiry - Customer 0 0 0 0

So I have a few questions.
1. How do I tell from SY08100 if something is missing or not? Is there a list of SectionID’s somewhere that tells what the ID goes with? There is one other user that I know of that is having the same problem.
2. What exactly is the SY07110 table that it is ok to just delete it? And does the fact that 1214 rows all have blank user IDs means there is a problem somewhere that I should notify Microsoft?
I appreciate your response to my original questions and hope you can help with these two also.
I also answered you in email.
Thanks,
Joan
