Hi,

In the Customer Service app, when creating a user invitation is there any way to automatically set the expiry date, to say, 24 hours from now?

Thanks

Steve

    Hi Steve,

    Yes, you can do it.

Go Settings > Customizations > Customize the system > Entities > Invitations > Fields to open the 'Expire Date' field.

Then you can change 'Format' to Date and Time.

    Save and Test result:

    Thanks Leah,

One thing I did want to ask, the expiry date is displayed in the format dd/MM/yyyy. Am I able to change the format to include time, HH:mm:ss, for example?

    Hi Steve,

There is an OOB field--Expiry Date in the Invitation entity form, you want to fill it automatically when the invitation record is created.

If so, you can create a workflow to achieve it.

Go To Settings > Process to click new button:

    Set trigger and add steps:

    Set Properties for 'Update:Invitation' step:

    Save and Active the workflow.

    Test:

The Expiry Date can be populated automatically after saving the invitation.
