Never faced this before. But it is relatively explanatory.

Have you by any chance added too many new fields in VendTable?

    It is documented here:

    [View:https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa569634.aspx:750:50]

We are running with a buffer size of 100kb due to large selects for exchanging data with our eCommerce portal through AIF.

The documentation clearly says that it is to troubleshoot overly large tables and joins, which are causing performance issues.

You should be looking at the root cause of the problem on why do you get the error message of that form. Like too many added fields, too many customizations which have added a lot of additional tables to the join, or using a lot of XDS policies for security filtering, and so on.

Increasing the maximum buffer size can hurt performance too, but it will make the error message go away immediately after restarting the AOS service. Make sure you change it on each AX AOS instances within your environment!
