How to exit Contacts from a real time customer Journey

I have created a real time customer Journey where I am sending a series of emails to contacts within some time periods. After Each Email we are checking if Contacts made transaction in Fundraising and Engagement .If Yes, custom trigger getting activated and contact moved to next Journey.
I checked campaign used in transaction to ensure correct transaction. From the Contacts that moved into First Journey some of them had chosen wrong Campaign and made transaction.
Due to choosing wrong Campaign they did not moved to yes branch in our First Journey. But they have already made transaction, so we need to move them into second Journey and remove from first Journey as well.
So Could someone tell me how to achieve this??

If we use exit by segment or exit by event, It will create a new version of Journey therefore it will be applied to future contacts that will come into the journey. But I want to exit those contacts from Journey One which Have Already Participated in.

If someone have Some Idea Please suggest.

Thanks!

    Hi Partner,
    Yes.
If you are editing a journey that is already go live, any changes that will affect the audience's experience will create a new version, which is by-design.
And we can't remove contacts directly from the journey.
In fact, exit by segment or exit by event is a good option.

    Hi,

I believe any change to the journey, will create a new journey. You could try to add a branch just after the position they are now. But i think it will still create a new journey.

Best would to create a new journey and stop the current one. The new one filters out the contacts that need to exit the journey.

    Hope this helps.
