Data Entity Postload() not called during export from Listpage

Dear all,

I have a strange behavior with a new Data Entity (based on CustTable)

1 Mapped field + 3 virtual fields that are set in PostLoad()

Export from a Data management export project: 4 fields fetched correctly and exported.

Export from All Customers Listpage: only mapped field is exported. Virtual fields are empty.

Debugger doesn't run into postload(). Haven't found anything in LCS Issue search, nor in previous forum posts.

Appreciate any help.

"Export to Excel" is not using data entities, it simply exports what you see in the grid.

"Open in excel" is using data entities.

    Thanks Nicolas.

That answers my question. I've had a big misunderstanding!

What does this mean for OData? I expect postload() to work in this case. But virtual fields are again empty here.

Do you also know if  "Open in Excel" and "OData" do not call postLoad()?

Open in Excel uses OData. And it calls postLoad. You should be able to debug it to find out why the virtual fields are not populated.
