Online training - Free and easy to understand

I have several years of experience with CRM, but AX is a new thing for me. Does anyone have a list of resources that could get me up to speed quickly?

I am looking for free. I am also looking for easy to understand. Also, I am looking for non-dead links, like most of the ones I found on the MSD AX page.

Thanks!

Thanks! The book I found is part of a resource library my company has, so it is free, to me. I bookmarked the links. The book is on my to buy list.

I thought you're looking for a free online training. :) I don't know this book in particular, so I can't comment on it, but it's better to read rather too much than too little.

Regarding reporting, documentation from Microsoft is here: Technet: Development Tasks for Reporting. You can also buy a good book about reporting in AX 2012. Nevertheless you may want to begin with MSDN: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 for Developers.

If you're associated with a customer or Microsoft partner, get access to CustomerSource/PartnerSource. You'll find a plenty of extra information there.

I found one resource to start with the book, "Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 Programming: Getting Started". Packt Publishing 2015.

Thank you for responding. It is already installed, so for now, I do not need that. The greatest need is insight in mining the data and creating reports from the data. Creating new forms may be a need shortly. Integrating with Excel looks like a need as well.

You'll have to be more specific. Do you want to learn how to install Dynamics AX? How to use sales and marketing module? How to manage production? How to configure security? How to design financial reports? How to develop new forms? How to integrate Dynamics AX with other applications?
