Vendor Payment specification ?

Can anyone please help me understand what a vendor payment specification is and where is it used ?

I know that it is linked to the payment method but what is the export format where can we setup the same and when would you need to ?

An example of a scenario would be very helpful.

    Hi Ashwin,

    The payment specification is depending on the payment method file format. For e.g. BTL91 there are some specifications which determines the type of payment, EUR - e.g.  EUR or Foreign currency - EUR.

    It is used for vendor payment files to indicate certain types of records. The specification is then filling the information slightly different based in the payment specification.
