    Hello,

    It does seem to require a zip like you said. It is written here:

    docs.microsoft.com/.../ui-extensions-quickbooks-data-migration

    ///

    In order to get your data out of the QuickBooks desktop application you will need to download the Microsoft Data Exporter Tool. The instructions for the tool are in the Data Migration Wizard in Business Central. The tool will connect to your QuickBooks application and export the applicable data to a .zip file.

    Please do mark this answer as verified so others can benefit from it but only if applicable of course. Report back to the forum if you do require more.

    Thanks.

    QuickBooks handles imported data using various file types. You can import lists and transactions for your QuickBooks files from Intuit Interchange Format files, saved as IIF and with text content. In QuickBooks, you can export your accounts for your accountant to work with. I would recommend you to take help from the QuickBooks experts. If want help on QuickBooks file transfer visit Apps4rent, they can help you with an exact solution. Also, they can help you with QuickBooks enterprise cloud hosting as well.

    First of all, open the QuickBooks file with extension QBX and click on File menu > now choose to Send company File > Accountant's copy. Now click on convert accountant's copy to QBW (company file) and click on OK.
