Change CCF Option Set Colors

G'day,

I'm hoping to use the CCF Option Set for a client of mine, but I'm hoping to change each selected option to a different coloured background.

Please ignore the actual information in the screenshot, it's all dummy info anyway.

Essentially, looking to have the standard Green/Yellow/Red highlights with their appropriate descriptions in the Option Set.

I've had a look through forums & the Google, but I'm struggling to find anything past mid-2019.

Has the CCF tools/library been properly released? If so, where can I find the ability to customise them?

Side note, I'm incredibly vague on Javascript so you'll need to flex your Layman's Terms muscles to help me out.

Any and all help would be appreciated.

I have the same question (0)

    Hy Simon,

Hope this post finds you well. Right now without doing any customizations, we cannot achieve it. Only thing which shoots up in my mind regarding your requirement is building a PCF control.

Through above you can built your own custom control and add it to the option field

    Hope this helps.

    Best regards,

RE: Change CCF Option Set Colors

    Hi

As mentioned above, the color cannot be changed in a supported way.  The code for these CCF based controls has not been published to GitHub so you cant change the way it works.  I think Microsoft may make these controls open source in the future once they converted them to PCF, if they do, we should be able to change its behavior.

One other limitation you may have already come across with this control but thought worth mentioning here is that it will only display a maximum of 3 options. if an option set has more than 3, it won't display those.
