How to switch directory/tenant in PowerPlatform

Posted on by 15

I am system admin user of multiple dynamics CRM tenant as guest user. and I want to switch to power platform of default organization/tenant to different organization where I'm added as external user(guest). In Azure portal, we have option to switch directory but we don't have same option in Power Platform admin center.

You can add the target tenant id into the url to switch between tenants:

    make.powerapps.com/environments/Default-tenantID

    Same for PowerBI:

    app.powerbi.com/home?ctid=tenantID

It's now possible to switch between directories (tenants) within Power Apps - not sure about power BI, and Automate but I think it's still not possible to switch directory in the Power Platform admin center - This is a feature I hope we will see in the near future.

Do you know if this is still accurate?

Guest accounts should not be able to see any information related to other tenants in Power Platform Admin Center. Guest users are not supported to perform admin operations for other tenants.

What you see in the admin center should be your main(home) tenant's information.

I'm using same credentials for all the tenants. 1 is default tenant and other tenants are guest accounts.

    Hi,

In Power Platform Admin Center, there is no option to switch to a different tenant. You need to log out for current user account and log in with another account of other tenants.
