    Hi Babu,

There are 3 options for you:

    1. Copy and paste data from Excel to NAV directly: remember to arrange columns before copy and paste data. You can refer to this link.

    2. Use Configuration Package: create package, table (15 - G/L Account), configure fields, export template, prepare data in exported template, import data from template file. You can refer to this link.

    3. Use our solution "Universal Excel Import": you can refer to this link.

Just copy&paste :-p (of course, you should arrange your columns before). The easiest way is export, modify, copy and paste.

    Good luck!

    Hi Khoa & Miguel,

Thanks a lot for your kind reply.  Can you please let me know or advice where to get the format or columns required.  Also will I able to achieve this on NAV 4 segment account structure on GL.  In dynamics GP its widely used.

In order to get the Export to Excel icon you need to customize ribbon and add Print & Send action group. For more info : https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh879067%28v=nav.71%29.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396

Steps : Right click on the ribbon and from the menu click on Customize Ribbon.

Select the Print & Send action group and then click on the Add >> button.

    Then click ok.

    Sorry Miguel,

Where do I do the copy, do I have to test company and copy a GL itself from there.  I am sorry but I just getting confused, where to enter GL account, description, and account type.
