Hi All,

We need your advice on the below request.

When PR's get approved there is an automatic process to then create a PO.

The PO does not get generated if the PR was raised in previous month and that month has been closed.

Example: PR created in March, gets approved in April, but March has since been closed off, PO will not be generated, but workflow will complete successfully.

Is it required a code change or is there any setups can be made to make it work.

Please advise.

Hi,
Based on the issue you described, there seems to be no way to solve your problem from the system side, and if the PR was raised last month and that month has been closed, no PO will be generated. This is the default behavior of System M. To resolve this issue, you have the following options:

Manual generation: In this case, you can manually create a purchase order based on an approved PR. For details, please refer to this document: Create a purchase order - Supply Chain Management | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn
