Hi expert,

When I installed SQL Server 2012, I left the ndf, mdf, ldf and tempDB installed in C drives as default. Is it right?

After the SQL server and sql componets from NAV are installed , I will configure the location of the mdf, ndf and ldf from NAV developement tool by altering the database. Can I delete the existing mdf from the Database File Tab? Then after it is deleted, I will add new mdf and ndf in the tab and then locate both of mdf and ndf in D drive. In Transaction Log File Tab, can I delete the existing log file from the tab and add new log file, which is also located in D drive?

In the current demo database, I can only see the mdf listed in the database file tab, where is the ndf?

Please advise! Thank you very much!
