Only allow items on sales order that is part of a trade agreement

Hi there ,

I am running AX 2012 R3. Is there any way to only allow items on a sales order if it forms part of that customer's trade agreement? Even a warning would be ok.

If there is can this be set up for certain customers only or will it take effect on all customers?

Hi,

If you just want to restrict specific item can be sold to specific customer, there is no out-of-box feature.

And you can have a look at the Restricted products regional feature.

Hi Mattguo , we have certain customers that should not be able to buy any items not listed on their trade agreement.

Like MattGuo mentioned, it is not a standard feature. You should consider a customization. But also think of possible scenarios when you need to provide items for free.

AX does not have the feature you mentioned.
