Fulfill Minimum on Item Coverage for Period Coverage Item

Hi Everyone,

I have an item assigned to the following coverage group:

Coverage Code: Period

Negative Days = 2 (dynamic days turned on, lead time of 14 days)

Coverage Period/Time Fence = 24

On the item master, I have set the fulfill minimum to today's date. When i run master planning i have the following setup:

1. zero on-hand inventory

2. sales order for 10 quantities with delivery date of 4/23

3. sales order for 12 quantities with delivery date of 4/26th

After i run master planning, i get the following two planned orders. It was my understanding that when i assign an item to a coverage code of period it would generate a single planned order for all requirements within my coverage period. Can anyone please tell me if i have misunderstood the functionality, or need additional setup?

    Hello Kathrine,

I've enjoyed reading your answers in our community and visited your space and come across this question and found it interesting and not answered so decided to dig in it, I know it's a long time but wonder if you are still around?

So making a coverage group with your setup and conducting your scenario it turns out that your problem is in the default order setting page where there is conflicts as it should generate on PO for both the SOs and fulfill them at the date specified on the first SO 23/4 as shows

    Best Regards,

    Mohamed Ali
