Unchecked field 'Central Maintenance' customer card

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

After an import, the 'central maintenance' field appears checked on the customer card and can not manually remove it or through another dataport where I set 'No'. The effect is that I can not open the affected customer cards. Can someone help me with a solution?

I guess it is a customization, and the idea of that customization is that users are not able to modify customer data as it is maintained on a central level somewhere in the headquarters? If so, you need to contact your development team to override this functionality if you really think that have permissions to view customer cards.

It seems like I don't have access to read the code; I will have to contact local systems integrator.

You need to check custom code behind or contact your partner for the same

I tried to unckeck from 'Customer' tabel and I received message: 'You musc change the field Central Maintenance because the entry is maintained centrally.' . I have all permissons to make changes. I did a dataport to make correction, but without any effect.

Adrian, That is custom field and there must be some code which is setting that value to yes or some permissions controlling that value. Have you created a report to updated the value ?
