While installing the Retail Modern POS (dynamics 365) i am getting below error at step 5, is anyone help me out from this error.

"Creating device token failed

DA1011: A server side database related error occurred. please check the server log for detailed info or contact your IT support "

A lot of setup needs to be ensured before activating MPOS.

Hi rahul,

Thanks for your reply, i already gone through this link and according to this we had done the setup at back office .

we need some particular task to check this error, means what are the setup we can check to resolve this error at back office.

Have a look into Retail Server log which can be found under Commerce-RetailServer->Operational in the Event Viewer on Retail Server machine (I assume this occurs in not PROD environment). There should be a Warning or Error explaining the details.

Hey There,

I've solved this issue when we check the event viewer we find below the error in the Event viewer > Application and services logs > Microsoft > Dynamics > Commerce-RetailServer > Operational

The issuer 'https://<RSSU Server>/RetailServer/auth' of the identity token does not match any of the identity provider issuers configured for this retail service instance. Note that the match utilizes case sensitive string comparison. Registered issuers (first 10):sts.windows.net/c308cdae-6719-4c5a-8555-235c7ert6a2c, https://<Environmentname>.sandbox.operations.dynamics.com/auth, commerce.dynamics.com/auth.

When I checked the identity provider in D365O I found the URL “'https://<RSSU Server>/retailserver”

But in the RSSU web.config file in the web application folder it was “'https://i<RSSU Server>:443/RetailServer”

So I’ve removed the port number from the web.config file and edit the identity provider “retailserver” to be “RetailServer”

It was a case sensitive issue in the URL :S

Hello good day, I have this same Error, I uninstall a device and reinstalled it, it turns out that now I get this, and I can not follow your detailed steps, can you tell me where I see the event viewer? Yes, in the AOS server and where the POS runs (in an external machine)! Thank you for your answer and what you can help me !!
