Electronic Report Error

Hi All,

I am getting one error while trying to create new configuration - "Configuration provider is not set"

Any thought on this, am I missing any setup?

Hi Nakul,

You can't create something under the Microsoft configuration provider.

Please setup a new one first, set it active and then create your new report.

Please see the next screenprint for an example:

If you don't create your own config provider while deriving any standard model you are going to get this error , so first step is to create your own configuration provider . Go through below article for all the related configuration needed in order to ER work.

Hi All,

I have created the configuration proivders reporting:

But when I click - Set Active, it doesn't have any impact, so from here if I click on reporting configuration, it brings me to the same screeen.

Your config provider is still not active . Near repositories if you see three dots then click on those and make your configuration provider as active.

What happens if you press the 'set active' button in your first screenprint for the 'Reporting' configuration provider?
