Difference between User Account and Service Account.

Hello All Experts,

can anyone explain me difference between User Account and Service Account.

In my CRM organization i have one user account say UserA.

my network admin told me this is the service account , i use the above account to import the organization.

    In Context of CRM: There is not a difference in fundamental level as both are created in AD and there is no different types. Service accounts usually used for running MS CRM services (like async, sandbox etc.). These accounts should have minimum permissions required to do the operations. Network service is an inbuilt service account of windows. User account are created for CRM users. You can check more here
